COURSES TAUGHT:
I teach Professional Relations in Child Development, Foundations of Child Development, Child Safety Health and Nutrition, Preschool Development and Learning, School-Age Development and Learning, Inclusion: Special Needs & Mixed Age Groups, and supervise Internship and Practicum students.

PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT:
I am a member of MnAEYC. NAEYC, M.E.C.S.A.T.A. (Minnesota Early Childhood and School Age Training Association), and ACCESS.

CAREER BACKGROUND:
I taught all-day kindergarten for two years in Virginia. Upon moving to MN, I taught 4 and 5 year olds at a day care for seven years. I have subbed in various elementary schools and taught ESL summer school, beginning level, for five years. I have taught Adult Basic Ed. classes since 1986. Since 1988, have taught classes in the Child Development Program in Rochester. I hold MN licensure in Nursery School, Kindergarten, and Elementary Levels as well as licensure as a technical college instructor.

PERSONAL NOTE:
I am married and have two adult children. We also have two grandsons who come to our home frequently. They are a joy to have around.
