ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
My full-time career positions have been based in education as well only in the community. I have spent the last five-years as a Family Life Educator at a hospital providing classes and technical assistance to parents and childcare providers. For two-years I was the Program Manager for a life skills education program for adult inmates in South Dakota. My academic teaching experience has been in a variety of subjects and learning environments. Over the past 10 years, I have taught Sociology and Speech Communication courses in community college, technical institute, and private and public university environments; mainly as an adjunct instructor.
